Daily Devotional. Whosoever hateth his brother IS A MURDERER: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 1 John 3:15. In the world, before Christ, there were times when you could legally, (with good reason) hate, and even kill, your brother. NO LONGER, Christ’s Love changes all that. Now, you can’t hate ANYBODY. Why? Because you have no idea who your brother is. Yes, some people look obvious, they are your brothers. But what about that guy you hate, who in 3 months IS going to get Saved and Fully Follow Christ all the rest of his life? Is he not your brother? A lost sheep, is still a sheep. A lost brother is still a brother. Many people had very good reason to Hate Saul, and all the damage, problems, and murder he was doing to the church, back in the beginning. Could you have been one to actually Pray for his Salvation? He was a lost brother, one not yet finding his way Home. Christ got him, do you think anybody of that day could even imagine “that murderer” getting Saved? (Do you pray for President Obama, is it possible he could get saved)? Maybe? You get the picture. There are many people who are Saved and we don’t know it. There are many people who aren’t saved, and THEY don’t know it. The question is, does ANYONE really know? So why not just let Christ share His Love for EVERYONE through you, let Him work it all out, and you treat them all as brothers? Still wise as a serpent, and gentle as a dove, but Love them all, anyway. (Love does not mean Trust, they need to earn that, you got the picture)? Just Love everyone across the board and let Christ sort them all out. It’s hard to Love, it doesn’t come naturally. That’s why Christ has to Love others, THROUGH you. At best, we can love a few, Christ Loves ALL. Let Him be All, through you, and, Be Blessed.
