Have you ever heard the expression, “He’s so Heavenly Minded that he’s no earthly good”? From a worldly point of view, I guess that’s supposed to mean that you’re so religious, so spiritually minded with your head in the “heavenly clouds” that you’re of no real value with practical worldly stuff, or something like that. And in one sense, maybe they’re right if all your “religious words” don’t make any sense to the everyday man. On the other hand, how would you describe the man Jesus Christ, the Son of God, walking on planet Earth? Did He Preach and Teach in such a “worldly” reality that even common everyday folks could see and understand, AND, have those Perfect Times of Prayer, Praise, Honour and Worship that so Pleased His Father, THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, that He, (Father), verbally Spoke from Heaven to Declare how Pleased He was with His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ? If you still think the expression, “He’s so Heavenly Minded that he’s no earthly good”, has ANY legitimacy to it, please tell the rest of us what your example of such a thing would be so we’ll know too. It would seem that if anyone wanted to take on a little more “Heavenly Mindedness” and a little less “worldliness”, this world would be in better shape. And isn’t that what this is all about? To point people to the Heavenly Mind of Christ as He, Christ, transforms their minds away from self-ish worldliness and on to CHRISTLIKENESS? Christ brings a proper balance of the MInd of Christ Infused INTO the mind of man to make a man with practical Common Sense AND an Understanding of the Things of Heaven so Profound, and yet so simple that ALL who want to listen AND Hear will FOREVER, Be Blessed.
