Genesis 14:16-17. Basically, the city of Sodom was raided by bad guys and Abraham battled, and brought everyone (the good guys), back home to Sodom. The point is, Sodom was once a reasonably nice place to live. But times have changed. But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly. Genesis 13:13. Sodom is now one very filthy city of unspeakable debauchery. Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; Genesis 19:24. There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. Deuteronomy 23:17. From H6942; a (quasi) sacred {person} that {is} (technically) a (male) devotee (by prostitution) to licentious idolatry: – {sodomite} unclean. At one time, Sodom was a nice little town doing the usual nice little town things. Little sins grew into huge sins, and if left unchecked, it all ends in death and destruction. Church people are quick to say Sodom was a homosexual’s paradise, and that is true, AND, Sodom was a town FULL OF ALL KINDS OF SIN, that ended in the gay lifestyle. MANY SINS led up to the final death and destruction. America TODAY is close to that same boiling point. WE ARE HEADED FOR THE SAME DEATH AND DESTRUCTION IF WE DON’T REPENT. And that’s not looking too likely. Don’t blame the gays, BLAME THE CHURCH, WE HAVEN’T DONE OUR JOB. We don’t call sin, sin. And we sure don’t Fear God anymore. Only in Christ will we see sin, and, Be Blessed.
