Daily Devotional. I am come in my Father’s name, AND YE RECEIVE ME NOT: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. John 5:43. I recently made a pretty strong statement, “ALL religions hate God. ALL denominations hate God. ALL religious sects hate God. (Brother, that’s pretty strong words!!!)” I’ll explain. When you decide to become a Christian and ask Christ into your heart, you won’t see Him coming to you with a missing hand, or with a leg missing, or one eye swollen shut, He’s coming to you in His Full Majesty, Full Power, and Worthy of receiving ALL your Praise, Honor, and Adoration, right from the start. Understand, a baby Christian had a learning curve to grow in Christ. But he will DESIRE all the Truth Christ has for him, he’ll fall and get back up and keep searching for the hidden Treasures of Christ. People who hate God ONLY want a certain amount of Him, AND NO MORE. They will “adjust” the Bible to suit them, even re-write the parts they don’t like and add in what they do like. God haters will preach most of the Bible, and purposely leave out things they either don’t like, don’t understand, or their denomination doesn’t preach “that stuff”. If we have a low standard of God, we will preach a God of low standards. Can we fathom all of God, no, not in this life, but do we have a HEART to TRY to preach all of God? That’s the question. IT’S ALL OF GOD, OR ELSE YOU HAVE NO GOD. It’s our job to preach it all, and let the Holy Spirit minister to the sheep. When we say, “They won’t understand, it could hurt them, or they might leave if I preach that”, WE have now decided what sheep can receive, and we’ve taken that OUT of God’s Hands, BECAUSE WE KNOW BETTER THAN GOD. God haters are afraid of ALL the Word and hold back. God Lovers will preach it all, as best they understand, and Trust the Holy Spirit to work it out. God’s Word IS Fullness, so Fill them up, and, Be Blessed.
