Daily Devotional. I am come in my Father’s name, AND YE RECEIVE ME NOT: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. John 5:43. This is a God Hater attitude and the 4 walls grassy front yard church is full of it. This is a man looking for just enough “godliness” to satisfy his need to feel good about himself, and no more. It takes very little to satisfy his interest in religious stuff. This also describes the guy that tells God, “I’ll take ANYTHING but you”. He’s so bitter and angry at God he can’t see straight. They KNOW God is unjust and unfair because He (fill in the blank for what God did to them), and they never will trust Him “again”. This is why so many Goat Preachers are so enticing to so many people in America. They have been told by others how bad God is and don’t WANT to find out the truth for themselves. BECAUSE IF THEY ACTUALLY FOUND THE TRUTH, GOD MIGHT NOT BE AS BAD AS THEY WERE TOLD, and then they would have to bow the knee to Him, AND THAT CERTAINLY ISN’T GOING TO HAPPEN. ALL religions hate God. ALL denominations hate God. ALL religious sects hate God. (Brother, that’s pretty strong words!!!) I’ll explain. They all preach about the parts of God they like, and leave out the parts they doubt like. THAT IS MAKING A GOD OF YOUR OWN CREATION. And He is nobody’s creation. ANYBODY can find God, IF they want to. You will only find Him by going down a straight and narrow path, and through a narrow door. On the other side of that door is where you Gladly and Joyfully tell God, “Take me, I’m ALL Yours, do with me as You Wish”. No question, no problem, you fall and break on Christ and let the chips fall where they may. You don’t care, it’s all in God’s Hands now. You are glad to become “the Perfect slave to the Perfect Master”. And nobody had to tell you the prayer to say to that. Christ is your Lord and Savior, and with THAT, you WILL, Be Blessed.
