Daily Devotional. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I WILL SEND A FAMINE IN THE LAND, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, BUT OF HEARING THE WORDS OF THE LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, AND SHALL NOT FIND IT. Amos 8:11-12. Yes, there are families with special situations to deal with. Single moms, a spouse has died, divorce, and more. This is addressed to Mom, Dad, and kids, families. DAD, revival starts with YOU. Then it spreads to your family, then to the church, then throughout the land. You, Dad, are the key to your family learning about the Lord. OPEN YOUR BIBLE AND READ IT, let the Holy Spirit show you everything He has for you, and your family, to learn. You are DAD, that right there makes you qualified to teach you and your family all about the Lord, and Life, and Eternity. No one was born with “Bible on the brain”. Learn as you go, learn as you teach, that’s all it takes. The Bible IS enough. Dad, you, the Bible, and the Lord, it’s enough to get ALL of you into Heaven for all eternity. AND, as you teach your family about the Lord, the overflow from your family will spill over to your friends, families, and neighbors. His Word won’t return void. It WILL spread and grow. Dad, your whole Life is teaching your family about the Lord. Yes, the mistakes, the blessings, real life is what they see, and they are watching as you move towards CHRISTLIKENESS, step by step, leading the Way, the way no other person on this world is qualified to do! Christ Forgives, and Changes people. The BEST that the church, and friends, can do is TRY to undergird your teaching. Bless others, Fellowship with other Believers, compare Notes, Pray for one another, it’s all Growing in Christ, it’s all good stuff. Christ is the ONLY Way into Heaven. If you don’t Teach Christ, they’re lost, they don’t know the Way and miss Heaven, and fall for Hell. Teach Christ, Be Blessed.
