BUT YE SHALL RECEIVE POWER AFTER that THE HOLY GHOST IS come UPON YOU: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Acts 1:8. Let’s be careful here in understanding that even a brand new baby sheep can testify of the Goodness of the Lord. And ANYTIME the Holy Spirit tells you to speak, you speak. Remember, a baby sheep is still A SHEEP. Many times people from a church go out to tell others about a christ they know, a christ they have been told about, a christ they like to talk about, when in reality, THEY HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT THE CHRIST OF THE BIBLE, because they have never been. “saved” by Christ. Yes, there are many “lord lord” people running around out there having no business being about the churches business “saving” people, as if it were A BUSINESS. That’s where, “Gett’em to say The Prayer, pronounce them saved, add up the numbers, and, WE’RE GROWING AND WE’RE BLESSED”. They claim to love Jesus, but barely crack open His Word. Nobody’s taught them to First, Seek Christ. All they know is, go out, gett’em saved, and they’re in. How can someone explain Salvation, if they’ve never been Saved themself? Is a church growing if attendance numbers are declining? Yes, and no. Yes, if people are being Saved, changed, and growing in Christ, AND Holiness is being Preached and Lived to such a degree that the goats can’t stand it, and leave. No, if goats are being “saved” and leave out the back door faster than they come in by the front door. Without hearing and obeying the Holy Spirit, YOU CAN’T BE SAVED. Truly, Be Saved, Grow in Christ, Obey the Holy Spirit, and, Be Blessed.
