Daily Devotional. If ye love me, KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS . John 14:15. But he answered and said, I AM not SENT but UNTO THE LOST SHEEP of the house of Israel. Matthew 15:24. MY SHEEP hear my voice, and I know them, and they FOLLOW ME: John 10:27. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, John 10:16. And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, BUT THE GOATS ON THE LEFT. Then shall he say also unto them on the left HAND, DEPART FROM ME, YE CURSED, INTO EVERLASTING FIRE , prepared for the devil and his angels: Matthew 25:33, 41. There seems to be 2 different groups of people, represented by 2 types of animals. The Sheep, being the Believers, the Followers of Christ, and, the Goats, those who will NEVER come to the Saving Knowledge of Christ’s Salvation. In with the sheep, are the lost sheep, nevertheless, still sheep. This would seem to say that a lost sheep will eventually figure out he’s in trouble and call out for help. Christ hears the call, goes and saves that lost sheep, who is now a found and saved sheep following Christ for the rest of his life. Sheep will follow Christ, goats will NEVER follow Christ, case closed. The Bible declared that lost people are liars and God-haters, but nowhere does the Bible speak of “atheists” or “carnal Christians”. You’re either carnal, of the world, or Christian, of Christ. One or the other. You CAN’T be both a worldly, follower of Christ. It’s just not Biblical. There will be many phoneys, many counterfeits, many liars, and many deceivers. That pretty well covers the negative side. The positive side are called Christians, Followers, and Faithful. For that matter, the Bible talks about children and adults. It says nothing about “teenagers”, or “adolescents “. Then you’re either a child, to obey your parents, or a man, responsible to God. This is just to simplify things down to Biblical terms, and throw out unbiblical man-made terms. We’re just seeking Truth, so that we ALL may, Be Blessed.
