(The Good News). And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. Hebrews 11:36-38. (The bad news). All these verses are talking about True Believers. There are no goats in this discussion. So how can Christ say He will never leave us, and then tell us 10 ways we will suffer and die? This just doesn’t line up with the “Prosperity Preachers” car in every driveway with plenty of money in the bank for all who BELIEVE!!! Well guess what. All those prosperity preachers are wolves in sheep’s clothing looking to eat the flock, and they are also false prophets. They wear both hats. Anyway, back to the verses. Christ never said we wouldn’t suffer, He said, even in our suffering, HE WOULD NEVER LEAVE US. He WILL be with us all the way to the end, then we will be with Him, for EVER. And when (Jesus) had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, AND TAKE UP HIS CROSS, and follow me. Mark 8:34. Back then, when a man picked up a cross, he wasn’t coming back. We have no assurance of tomorrow. Only that we will die, and Christ will be with us. That’s all He Promises. How’s THAT for a prosperity message??? So plan on dying, and LIVE LIFE to the fullest. THAT’S the Prosperity Message. Grab a hold of it, and, Be Blessed.
