Daily Devotional. And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I HAVE HEARD THY PRAYER, AND HAVE CHOSEN THIS PLACE to myself FOR AN HOUSE OF SACRIFICE. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made IN THIS PLACE. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, THAT MY NAME MAY BE THERE FOR EVER: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there PERPETUALLY. 2 Chronicles 7:12, 15-16. God gave King Solomon a heart to build a House for the Lord with all the Things the Lord wanted in it. Solomon, with a Desirous Heart to please the Lord, made everything just as the Lord designed in his mind to make. Solomon Joyfully built and made the Temple as the Lord described. This was a place the Lord could live in. Today, the Lord has made people and calls out, “I want you to be My House, I want to live with you and in you. Here’s what I want you to do inside this Place, how I want it furnished, and how to clean out the filth that My new house may be a Holy Place where we may commune together in Fellowship. We have a lot to talk about, and I have a lot to teach you”. The Lord desires each one of us to be His Temple, a place He can dwell in. When He first gets us He has a lot of cleaning to do. It’s an ongoing process, being cleansed, but when Christ Saves us, He moves in and starts to clean house, throw out the trash, and build in CHRISTLIKENESS. Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:16. God says He can, and will, do this, if we’ll let Him. Christ has already Paid in Full the price to remodel you to God’s specifications. (Hey, are YOU going to tell HIM it can’t be done)??? This is your once in a Lifetime opportunity. YOU’RE HIS HOLY TEMPLE, ACT LIKE IT, BELIEVE IT, AND, BE BLESSED.
