Daily Devotional. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, 2 Thessalonians 2:3. The days are coming when more and more people in the congregation will become disillusioned with the words the preacher is saying to them. His words will start to make less and less sense as they become more confused by what they see and hear. They will start to deny the God they thought they wanted to follow and even come to believe, “That’s not MY God”, throw down their bible, and walk out. The great Apostasy, the great falling away, people leaving church in droves. Oh, I’m sorry, did you think was talking about the Christian church??? No, no, no. I was talking about EVERY OTHER church and religion out there. Muslims, Hindus, Catholics, Jehovah Witnesses, all of them, as the Lord calls HIS to come out of those places, they will become dissatisfied with what their preachers promised them and come to understand that only Christ, is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. They are fed up with rhetoric, slick wordings, threats, lies, bullying, impossible works to do, and to even be told to die for a cause their teacher won’t die for. When they see Christ and compare Him to the rotten cesspool they’re in, they will drop their false religion in a heartbeat and RUN to Christ to never let Him go. Please understand, people will fall away from a god that asks too much of them, and either keep looking for Christ, with a Hungry Heart, or they will fall away from what they used to believe and just trust in themself and die in their sins. Christ is calling EVERYONE to come to Him. Some will heed the call and come out of sin to Him, some will stay in Sin and die there. Find Christ, find Life, Be Blessed.
