Daily Devotional. I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that BEARETH NOT fruit he taketh away: and every branch that BEARETH FRUIT, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. John 15:1-2. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:12. And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:23. This gets complicated, but it makes sense and is Biblically sound. More later. If you never come to the Lord, you’re dead. Nothing has been forgiven, everything is remembered, and Judgment Falls on Judgment Day. To those who claim to Know Jesus, at one time in their life, THEY MAY ACTUALLY HAVE. They may have been Saved and did walk with the Lord. But like the “corn” plant, they were real, for a while, (Jesus knew them), and for whatever reason, THEY WALKED AWAY FROM THE LORD. Their own choice, to fall for the Great Apostasy near the End. For them, at one time the Lord DID Forgive them and cast that remembrance of sin as far as the east is from the west. They are BELIEVERS. These are they whom the Holy Spirit keeps calling back in Love, Mercy, and Grace. They won’t listen so Christ throws them and their apostasy out, as far as the east is from the west. A runner who doesn’t finish the race, GETS NOTHING. But those who DO finish the Race, are forgiven of their sins, and CONTINUALLY Walk with Christ, Walk in Repentance and Obedience, AND STAY THE COURSE, will forever be with Christ on this side, and the next. The theology of “once saved, always saved”, DOES apply to those who Stay the Course with Christ, ALWAYS. Yes, anyone can trip and fall, but will they get back up AGAIN, so that they may, Be Blessed?
