What should it be? The Holy Spirit has been working on you for a while now and you’re seeing just how wretched a mass of sinner you really are. You’ve heard church can help, so you go. The Preacher preached The Gospel and the Holy Spirit finished His Work as you run to the alter crying out for Forgiveness and Repentance. Christ Saves you and gives you a Peace in your Heart you never had before. What happened? Forget the junk at the front door, YOU ARE THE SACRIFICE, YOU LAY YOURSELF ON THE ALTER AND ASK THE LORD TO CUT YOU DEEP AND WIDE, to take out a heart of stone and put in a Heart of flesh, soft to the Lord. You ask Him to dig out all the rot and filth in your life and to Cleanse you from your old man nature, to make you a vessel suitable for His Purposes, and to give you a Love for Him, and His Family. Whatever words you use, THEY’RE YOUR WORDS that come from the depths of YOUR soul. Not some ignorant canned “prayer” someone tells you to repeat after them. All this is the technical version of the hearts cry, “Oh God, I’m a sinner, save me”. Now, you WILL, Be Blessed.
