Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 1635

Daily Devotional. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Hebrews 1:1-2. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. Luke 16:29, 31. This last part is a reference to Christ, rising from the dead. First, we’ll make a comparison. The Kings Helpers (the prophets) went out into the world relaying messages from the King to the people, and most of the time the people wouldn’t listen to the helpers of the King because, they were just helpers. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. Luke 16:10. If you won’t listen to God’s little helpers when they speak for the Lord, then you won’t listen to the Lord when He does speak, BECAUSE YOU’RE NOT LISTENING FOR OR WILLING TO OBEY WHEN ANYONE SPEAKS, BECAUSE YOU DON’T HAVE A HEART TO LISTEN, TO ANYONE. God or man, it doesn’t matter, if you don’t want to listen, you won’t listen, to anyone. Use any excuse NOT to listen that you want, the end result is, YOU WON’T LISTEN. If someone does speak, do you shoot the message, do you shoot the message AND the messenger, or just shoot the message, messenger, and the Lord??? It’s ok, you’re in good company, they killed the Prophets AND Christ, and if you’re not listening, you’re killing them too. Listen to that still, small voice, it just might be the King whispering to you. Listen, and, Be Blessed.
