Daily Devotional. God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Hebrews 1:1&2. In the olden days, God spoke to the people through the prophets. The people could ignore the prophets and go on their merry way, they could listen to the prophets, and ignore their words, or, as some did, they would gladly listen to the prophets give a Word from the Lord, and apply it to their life. It was a hard life, being a Prophet. It would be a most glorious thing for the Prophet to actually hear directly from the Lord, the Creator OF EVERYTHING. How Big is that? And then to turn around and tell the people the Word of the Lord and His Intentions, only to have them decide to kill him because they don’t like what he had to say, that’s literally The Best, and the worst, life has to offer. If they kill the Prophet, they have silenced hearing the Word. Forget it, it’s over with. NOW, NO MORE!!! Their hatred for Prophets was so bad, they even killed the Son of The King, who had nothing but Good News for them. Well, HE’S BACK, and He’s back with a vengeance. Christ has made it that He is in EVERYONE’S ears, and they can’t shut Him out. You Listen and Live, or don’t and die. He loves you to your dying day, THEN COMES YOUR WELL DESERVED JUDGMENT. If you Listened, Loved, and Followed Him, you LIVE forever with Him. If you blow him off and cast Him aside, He will cast you aside and there will be Hell to Pay. And you’ll Pay with your living death forever. God spoke through the Prophets, NOW, He’s in your head as your conscience, day and night. The Good News? Simply listen, repent, obey, and, Be Blessed.
