Daily Devotional – MORNINGTIME 1509

Daily Devotional. And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. 1 John 1:4. The whole Book of 1 John is a self-examination of your life and if you are truly Saved. It actually lists 9 different things you, as a Christian, WILL be doing as you walk with Christ. Of the 9 things, some will be stronger, some will be weaker, but ALL will be there in your Life. We will touch on these 9 statements and look at the difference between “legalism” and Love. Here goes. IF you are a Christian, YOU WILL;
(1), Have Fellowship with Christ. (2), Confession of sin.
(3), Commitment to God’s Word. (4), Compassion for Believers.
(5), Change of affection.
(6), Comprehension of the Truth. (7), Conformity to CHRISTLIKENESS.
(8), Conflict with the World. And, (9), Confidence in Prayer.
If you have any problem with this list, take it up with John. Here goes the “Legalism” angle. If you don’t have all 9 of these things in your life, you’re going to die and go to Hell. Now, here goes the “Love” angle. If you don’t see these 9 things in your Walk with Christ in Salvation, study the Word, talk to Christ, listen to and Obey the Holy Spirit as He well teach you ALL things so that you can Rest in the Full Assurance of Salvation. No more wondering if you’re Saved or not. Both of those statements are True, one balances out the other, and both together well draw you to Christ. Court is full of legal talk, Judgment Day will be a legal proceeding, Satan will legally accuse you of sin, Christ will show, He’s Mine, charges will be dismissed. Legalism only, will bring condemnation. Love AND legalism will bring a balanced Life in Christ. Legalism will show you your death sentence, Love will show you a Way Out, together you will understand, and, Be Blessed.
