Daily Devotional. (For The Life was manifested, and we have seen it , and bear witness, and shew unto you that Eternal Life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;) That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: AND TRULY OUR FELLOWSHIP IS WITH THE FATHER, AND WITH HIS SON JESUS CHRIST. 1 John 1:2-3. For those of you who are hungry for More, these verses, and those around them, should encourage you to pause and take note of what is being said, being claimed, here. Yes, it’s good to fellowship with man, fellow Believers. But to Fellowship with God, and His Son, Jesus, the Christ? Have you ever stopped to consider this? That we can not only talk to God, but that we can have Fellowship with Him, with Them? So what, exactly, is this Fellowship? [Fellowship; association, community, communion, joint participation, intercourse, the share which one has in anything, participation intercourse, fellowship, intimacy]. Just how deep, how intimate, can this go? Just what are we really missing out on? The Creator of EVERYTHING is inviting us to spend time with Him, to get to Know Him, to be One with Him??? And all we can do is yawn, say church is over, I’m going home to watch the game? Does this sound like a “Beloved and Lover” relationship? This is a Fellowship that ONLY you and the Lord can work out. Only your Heart can cry out for this, or not. If not, does the expression, “a lover spurned” mean anything? This Godly relationship is an example of what marriages are to be made of. We are being prepared to be a part of the Bride of Christ. Can you Love back a Lover of this caliber? Just what does Christ mean to you? Decide now, because you could be spending eternity with Him, if you like…. Love Christ, and, Be Blessed.
