Then they that feared the Lord SPAKE OFTEN ONE TO ANOTHER: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name. Malachi 3:16. This verse is all about people who WANT to get together to talk about the Lord, and His Word, to Bless Him, and to Testify about Him and what He is doing. These are people hungry for all they can get from the Lord and His People. It may be 2 people standing on the corner waiting for the next bus, a family having dinner together talking over the Lord’s doings for the day, it could be 2 Believers testifying to their captors, encouraging themselves in the Lord just before they are martyred. Whoever they are, THEY WANT MORE OF THE LORD. These are Believers, Followers of Christ, people doing all they can to obey and follow the Leading of the Holy Spirit. Some of these people are in the 4 walls grassy front yard church of all kinds of denominations. They will be gleaning all they can from the church that are at, and they will still be hungry for more. They will seek out and Fellowship with other Believers who are just as hungry for more as they are. This is a God given Hunger that only He can Satisfy. Yes, study and learn all you can at your church, but no matter how good it is, if you are In Christ, you WILL have a hunger for More that only Christ can satisfy. Man can teach, but only Christ can Fill and Satisfy. This is just a foretaste of desiring to Fellowship with Christ in Heaven. But be warned, if you don’t like to talk over the Things of the Lord here and now, you SURE won’t want to later in Heaven. Are you too busy to Fellowship now? Don’t worry, for some, there will be no place for that, for where they’re going. Many “christian” goats can’t talk about Christ, they’ve never met Him.
