Daily Devotional. And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and PRESENT THYSELF, (Moses), there TO ME, (The Lord), in the top of the mount. Exodus 34:2. Let’s face it, almost everything about looking down has a negative connotation to it. Most everything about looking up has a positive one. The world has more than enough down, death, and destruction in it. Let’s look at the up side of things. You’re in the middle of a crowded mall and no one notices you. If you carry in a 6 foot step ladder and set it up, that’s OK, no one really cares. But when thou climb half way up the ladder and just watch people, many notice and even ask what you are doing. Climb to the top and start telling people God Loves them, now everyone can see you and most will hear you. My point? As you live like and with everyone else, you’re one of the guys, you’re OK. When you start to rise up above “the norm” you become noticeable, you’re different. As you grow up into more Godly attributes and CHRISTLIKENESS, you will find yourself an easy target for the worldly people who call you a “goodie two shoes”, or worse, AND find yourself a target for the “christians” who feel conviction when a real Christian is around. The higher you go, the less people like you. You may even feel all alone with very few true friends. Can you imagine what Moses went through when God publicly called out to him and said, Moses, Come up to my place, let’s talk??? If you do it right, when you climb a tall extension ladder, you’re watching where you’re going with no concern of where you’re coming from. Your view is always the same with your goal slowly coming closer. You hardly notice the change. That’s the point, you don’t notice the Christlike changes in your life, but everyone else does. You KNOW things are different, but you don’t know how much. Let Christ change you as you enjoy the climb. Leave the world, and Seek Christ. With that, you will, Be Blessed.
