These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee. Titus 2:13-15. Don’t misunderstand, I am NOT anti-Christ-MAS, I AM anti-Christ-LESS. This generally applies all year long when someone, a preacher, teacher, or Joe Sheeper, talks about Christ in a very nice watered down way. As I’ve said before, we fawn all over baby Jesus for a month before Christmas looking at a cute cuddly baby with the 3 wise men looking on. We do the same thing at Easter time. We build up for a month before, spreading out palm branches, big play productions and musicals, it goes on and on. Look at what we’ve done to Christ on the Cross, He’s got a few scratches, a few drops of blood, there’s a foot rest under His feet, a small, pure white robe around him, and even ropes around His arms to relieve the strain. That’s all garbage, HE WAS A BLOODY MESS, and crucifixion was designed to be the most painful way a person could die. There was no footrest, ropes, or robe. Yes, Christ was a baby, yes, Christ was crucified, yes, He rose from the dead, BUT FOR WHAT PURPOSE??? It was to save us from the WRATH of God Who HAS to kill us all and send us to Hell to keep SIN out of Heaven. Christ took our Lawful Beating and died in our place to Satisfy Godly Judgment against us. We have cleaned up, sanitized, babyfied, and made Bloodless a christ of our own making so badly that God Himself wouldn’t recognize the “son” we have made him to be. The “church” generally preaches a christ-less gospel of our own design. We HAVE TO Preach the Christ of the Bible, if we are going to, Be Blessed.
