Daily Devotional. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore BY THEIR FRUITS YE SHALL KNOW THEM. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 7:19-21. To anyone who would say, “You can’t judge me, you don’t know my heart”, I will say, You’re right I can’t judge you BECAUSE I don’t know your heart. What I CAN watch is your life, your actions, and your words and examine the fruit hanging off your branches. GENERALLY SPEAKING, (not always true), if you don’t know the Lord, your only real defence and understanding is, “Don’t judge me”. If you truly do know the Lord, you will gladly allow someone to show you some dirt you have on your backside, so you can clean it off. Yes, it’s hard to have someone show you some dirt (sin) in your life, but it’s a whole lot harder to have your Commander look you over and declare you unfit for battle and send you away. Christians WILL swallow, crush, and kill pride if it means being found with no spot, no blemish, and no wrinkle, suitable for the Master’s use. The desire to be Pleasing to the Master so outweighs any other desires, that there is no comparison. Christians WANT to be cleansed and purified. What other way will the Lord receive His Bride? If this is not your first Desire, what is? Yes, there is always a learning curve for new Christians, but it won’t be long before they also will do anything and everything the Lord asks them, (us), to do. Mess up? OK, deal with it, Be Forgiven, and keep on Following Christ. Life happens, keep Following, and keep Growing into CHRISTLIKENESS. Your Fruits will grow and you may not see them, but everyone else will. If you’re in Christ, people will see you and know you long before you do. If you’re in Christ, you will, Be Blessed.
