Daily Devotional. ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16. Of all the billions of books, manuscripts, writings, and papers from all over the face of the earth, of secular, and religious, denominational, and profound, silly, and serious, there is only One Book that you can anchor onto, bet your life on, and have The Assurance for all Eternity that no other book can give. And that’s the Bible, the Word of God, the Holy Scriptures, Christ, The Word. Think about it, pick up the Bible and look at it. This is the ONLY book that leads to Life. Every other book out there is written by man and leads to death. Anything a man writes ABOUT the bible is, at best, someone’s regurgitated rehash about their opinion, their viewpoint, their thoughts, and beliefs, even hidden motives, of what they want you to Believe about the Bible. Yes, there are books written to try to help you understand things about the bible, the times, traditions, and life in general back then, but they’re still second rate compared to the Bible. Here’s my point. Times week get hard and you’re forced to flee for your life and grab for only 1 book on the way out. I’ll bet it’s the bible. Now, in secrete, it’s only you, the Bible, and the Holy Spirit. IS THIS ENOUGH FOR YOU TO GROW SPIRITUALLY AND BARE FRUIT FOR THE LORD? You have to ask the Holy Spirit EVERYTHING about the Bible, there’s no one else, and nothing else, to learn from. What would happen if we set aside EVERYTHING, now, and only studied the Bible with a continuous Fellowship with the Holy Spirit, all day long??? Would that stunt our growth, or would God Richly Bless? Try it? Or don’t. What works for you that you may, Be Blessed?
