For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, PIERCING EVEN TO THE DIVIDING ASUNDER of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12. This gets down deep and personal. If you will allow, the Lord will get down to below the very core of your being, and drag out junk and stuff you had no idea was down there. Yes, when we get Saved, we get forgiven, but we carry in with us a lot of ugly baggage that we don’t even know we have. What we DO know, is hard enough. But when the Lord starts digging and up-rooting long held traditions and theologies, that’s when the trouble starts. For example, something goes wrong and you get very angry. Are you watching, are you paying attention??? This is the Lord allowing things to reveal TO YOU that you have an anger problem. This is for your benefit to understand, He already knows about it. The hard question is, will you allow Him to work on it and clean it up, or deny the whole thing and stick your head in the sand? A Believer will say, “Yes Lord, clean me up, in Jesus Holy name”. THEN the digging and cutting starts, just like surgery, it hurts, but when He’s done, it feels oh so much better. And THEN you go on to the next problem on His List. This is the Purifying Process drawing you deeper and deeper into CHRISTLIKENESS. This will go on your whole life, to prepare you as a part of the Bride of Christ. As soon as you little sheep understand this concept and embrace it, you’re off and running into understandings you’ve never dreamed of. Suddenly, it’s not Satan attacking, IT’S THE LORD CUTTING YOU UP. Wrap your arms around it and declare, Thank you Lord, what the enemy meant for bad, is of the Lord and Good.
