Daily Devotional. For the time will come WHEN THEY WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2 Timothy 4:3. This is a hard question for Sunday School teachers, now, or soon might teach. This is not about the church hierarchy and whom is over what, this is a question for you, the individual teacher. Who determines what you teach, what curriculum you’ll use, and how much leeway you have??? We’ll get down to brass tacks here. If you WANT to Teach the Word with no hindrances, can you? If God woke you up in the middle of the night tonight and told you, “Teach on this subject and I’ll give you the Words to say as I want you to say them”, would you do it? Could you do it? Or would you say, someone else has already told me what I’m to Teach on? This is really a loaded trick question, did you catch it? When God says, “You do…”, that’s the end of the discussion, God has spoken and that is all you can do. NO OTHER EXCUSE WILL WORK. It’s God’s Way, or it’s no way. Everyone else’s ideas line up behind God’s ideas. If you’ve got this concept, good for you, you are now about to hang yourself. IF YOU TEACH ANYTHING ELSE THAN THE FRESH WORD GOD HAS FOR YOU TO TEACH THIS SUNDAY, YOU’RE IN DISOBEDIENCE. If you can’t hear from the Lord about what HE wants you to Teach this Sunday, YOU’RE NOT QUALIFIED TO TEACH!!! You’re spitting out someone else’s re-hashed, regurgitated, stuff that was for someone else in days past. THIS IS WAR, you’ve got to be ready in season, and out of season, with a Fresh Word, otherwise, it’s a stale word. Yes, I’m being hard here, IT’S THAT IMPORTANT. Put your Faith on the line, Trust the Lord to talk TO YOU, that you may, Be Blessed.
