Daily Devotional. And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. (That’s the good news part). But as for them whose HEART WALKETH AFTER the heart of their DETESTABLE THINGS AND THEIR ABOMINATIONS, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord God. (This is the bad news). Ezekiel 11:19-21. This is black and white, you do things God’s Way and Be Blessed, or you do it man’s way and be cursed, a lack of blessing. Don’t be fooled by someone who seems nice, says they are a Christian, and does things the Bible specifically forbids. Many “christians” look respectable in church and community until the Lord pushes their buttons and they show their true self, and you ask, How can a christian do such a thing? The answer may be that they never were a Christian because it was all a front, until the Lord pulled the mask off. It’s either a good tree, or a bad tree, one or the other. A bad tree may look good, for a while, until the real fruit starts to show, then there’s no hiding the Truth. Same thing for a (c)Christian, they (we) will all show our true colors at some point in time. If you could secretly watch someone for most of a day, what do they do when they think no one is looking? Are they the same all week long as they look Sunday morning? Or are they living two separate lives? God will show each one of us exactly who we are in our heart attitude, if we will listen. If not, He’ll show us publicly, who we are. Be worldly and suffer His Wrath. Be a Christian and suffer His Blessings. Be True to Christ, and, Be Blessed.
