Daily Devotional. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; BECAUSE THAT WHICH MAY BE KNOWN OF GOD IS MANIFEST IN THEM; for God hath shewed it unto them. Romans 1:18-19. Basically this is telling us that everyone, even the unrighteous, have been shown enough about God that they can’t say on Judgment Day, “I didn’t know You God, You can’t hold me responsible for that”. EVERYONE has been shown enough about God to be held accountable. No one gets a Free pass on Judgment Day. So if everyone knows enough about the Lord, why do we Believers need to go preach to all the world??? First off, to be Obedient to a command of the Lord. Nobody NEEDS us to be saved. It’s a privilege that the Lord ALLOWS us to be a part of the working of the Holy Spirit as HE brings someone to Salvation. So what other reason could there be if God doesn’t NEED us to save people? BECAUSE EVERY TIME THE GOSPEL GETS SHARED WITH “JOE X”, HE WILL HEAR IT AND RECEIVE IT, OR REJECT IT. On Judgment Day every Gospel Word will stand next to Joe and testify, “Joe heard the Word and followed Christ”, or, “Joe heard the Word and rejected Christ”. If he has rejected Christ and is cast into the Lake of Fire, (as David Wilkerson preached), those words of rejection will haunt Joe over and over again and again for all Eternity. Where the worm, your conscience, will never let you forget ALL the times the Lord reached down to offer you HIS SON, Jesus, The Christ, And you rejected Him every time. How’s that for living in a Nightmare, FOREVER!!! Consider Christ right now and His Gift of Salvation. Stop saying “NO”, just say “yes”, and, Be Blessed.
