Daily Devotional. As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. 1 Peter 2:2-3. Have you ever Feasted on the Word so much and so well that you came away from your Bible Study time literally feeling full? Like you actually sat down to a big home cooked meal and came away feeling physically full and satisfied? Reading and studying the Word will do that for you. We’re not talking 6 hours of study time. Even an hour or two can do this. When you start looking up things in the Bible, as the Lord opens up your eyes to His Word, sometimes it can seem like time stands still. Or the hours pass so quickly you don’t even notice. When the Lord tells you to study His Word, He will make it well worth your time. A newborn baby can have a part of a bottle of milk and be full, and satisfied. An older Senior sheep can feast at the table on many delicacies and be Fully Satisfied. Each one of us have our own food needs, and the Lord will custom satisfy each one of us, personally. He will custom tailor the studying of His Word to meet the needs of each one of us, personally. And the fun just keeps on going when we have a time of Fellowship together and start comparing notes of what we have learned. And even better, when we come together and ask the Lord to give us all in fellowship, the Mind of Christ, that our understanding be unified as One, this is where iron sharpens iron. We compare notes, discern what is good food and what is deception trying to sneak in, clean it up, and we all benefit. No one is trying to push his theory or ideas as right. We just ask Christ for His Mind, that we may all come and conform to Him and His thinking. THIS is Fellowship. Do you have friends or family you can regularly get up with? Does your church support this? Make time for HIM, and, Be Blessed.
