Daily Devotional. This is thy lot, the portion of thy measures from me, saith the Lord ; BECAUSE THOU HAST FORGOTTEN ME, AND TRUSTED IN FALSEHOOD. Therefore will I discover thy skirts upon thy face, that thy shame may appear. I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighing’s, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! WILT THOU NOT BE MADE CLEAN? when shall it once be ? Jeremiah 13:25-27. The Lord, through the Prophet Jeremiah, is calling out to His people, the Jews in Jerusalem, to put away their whoredoms with their idols and idol worship. This is like your spouse going out the front door, with their back to you, to purposefully be with many other lovers, in a most intimate way. No shame, day or night, out in the open, completely forgetting you, their First Love. It’ll tear your Heart out. And they’re not coming back until they can see the error of their ways. Until then, they see no need to change, BECAUSE THEY’RE NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG. AND THIS IS US IN THE CHURCH TODAY!!! We are so steeped in sin, lies, whoredoms, and deceptions, WE SEE NO SIN IN OUR WAYS. Ask your Preacher, ask ANY priest or preacher, what are the 10 top sins we are doing/participating in in OUR church (where you worship) today??? They’ll be hard pressed to even name 2 or 3. The coming hard days, times of tribulations, are coming FROM the Lord and TO the church to Purify and Cleanse Her from her idol worship and adulterous ways. Don’t worry about the sins of the world, HE’S COMING AFTER US, THE CHURCH, THE BODY OF CHRIST, THE BRIDE OF CHRIST, for the final Purification, TO BE PREPARED TO MEET THE BRIDEGROOM, AND BE WITH HIM FOR ETERNITY. Maybe you’re not a big time sinner, will you let Him cleanse you of even your little sins, that you may, Be Blessed?
