Daily Devotional – MORNINGTIME 1586

Daily Devotional. In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord , Set thine house in order: FOR THOU SHALT DIE, AND NOT LIVE. THEN HEZEKIAH turned his face toward the wall, and PRAYED unto the Lord, Then came the word of the Lord to Isaiah, saying, Go, and say to Hezekiah, Thus saith the Lord , the God of David thy father, I HAVE HEARD THY PRAYER, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will add unto thy days fifteen years. Isaiah 38:1-2, 4-5. And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch. THEN THE HIGH PRIEST ROSE UP, and all they that were with him, (which is the sect of the Sadducees,) and were filled with indignation, And laid their hands on the apostles, AND PUT THEM IN THE COMMON PRISON. BUT THE angel of the LORD by night OPENED THE PRISON DOORS, and brought them forth, AND SAID, GO, STAND and SPEAK in the temple to the people all THE WORDS OF this LIFE. Acts 5:12, 17-20. These are 2 examples of, Prayer Changes Things. One man’s Prayer changed the rest of His life. Many people’s Prayers changed the “future”. Man said, “Dead Apostles”, God said, “Living Apostles”, God wins, the future is changed, Life is preached. This is to encourage us, and admonish us, to be in prayer about anything, and everything. If it’s a part of your life, pray about it. Keep in mind, the Lord may set you free from evil man’s desires, OR HE MAY NOT. Are you willing to NOT, if need be? Will you trust the Lord to COMPLETELY take care of you, no matter how He chooses to work it out? Live or die, you will Trust the Lord? Is your future in HIS HANDS, or yours? Leave it in His, and, Be Blessed.
