The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, Luke 4:18.(Preach the gospel, heavy). This is all as an illustration, please read carefully. When the Gospel is preached, spoken, whispered, said as a joke, repeated and mocked, whatever, WHEN THE GOSPEL IS SAID, IT WILL BRING RESULTS, IT WILL NOT RETURN VOID, PERIOD. Understand, EVERY time you hear/see the Gospel, it will stand next to you on Judgment Day and Testify you love the Gospel, or you mock the Gospel. No, you’re not being singled out here, WE ALL started off mocking the Gospel, some now Believe and love the Gospel. If Hitler had spoken a verse from the Gospel, or if Billy Graham spoke a verse from the Gospel, the Gospel would have the same effect on the hearers. They WILL be held accountable for the Gospel Truth they have heard. My point is, it doesn’t matter who, how, or in what context the Gospel is said, It will stand in its own Power on its own two feet. Other than the Perfect Man Christ, the Son of God, God uses un-perfect man to extend, (written or spoken), the Gospel to un-perfect man. Sinners or saved, preaching to sinners or saved, and any combination thereof. Once the Gospel is extended, the Holy Spirit goes to work as ONLY He can change lives from sinner to saved. This understanding is a building block to build on later. Whether you believe the Gospel or not, it CANNOT be watered down or lose ANY of its Power, Ever. Hear the Gospel, and, Be Blessed.
