Daily Devotional. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, THEY SHALL DECEIVE the very elect. Matthew 24:24. Let’s just say, for the sake of an illustration, that just about everyone on this planet believes they are on their way to heaven. They each have enough Truth to believe their way is the Right way, and if you don’t follow their way, you’re not going to Heaven. So how can 2 people, who both believe they are each right, fellowship together enough to try to convince the other guy, he’s wrong? It can’t be done. “I’m right, you’re wrong, you need to repent and then I can help you find The Truth”. These are just 2 hard heads stuck on their own version of the Truth. Opinions, viewpoints, and understandings go nowhere and mean nothing. ONLY THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN BRING SOMEONE TO CHRIST. Ok, so what’s He need us for? FIRST, for us to read and study THE WORD, (the Sword), so He can teach us what it means and how to properly use it. Second, to learn Obedience to that Still, Small, Voice and speak only what He tells us to speak. Third, to Rejoice in being used by the Holy Spirit, to speak as He directs, and watch Him bring a sinner to Salvation. We get to be a part of that. And that will grow your faith. Now, when you are Obediently talking to your neighbor and giving him the Full Gospel, the Holy Spirit will bring conviction to him to the point that he will either Follow Christ, or, Reject Christ. Neighbor will verbally reject Christ, or HE, (neighbor), will Joyfully repent, and in HIS OWN WORDS, commit to Follow Christ, with enough understanding to show everyone Christ has made a difference in His life already. If you have to tell a sinner what to say, he’s only met you. If He meets Christ, Christ will tell him what to say, and he will, Be Blessed.
