Daily Devotional. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, THAT HE MAY ABIDE WITH YOU FOR EVER; John 14:16. But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, HE SHALL TEACH YOU ALL THINGS, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, EVEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, which proceedeth from the Father, HE SHALL TESTIFY OF ME: John 15:26. The Holy Spirit will be with us always, teach us all things, and Testify of Christ. He is also here to Chasten, (But when we are judged, we are CHASTENED OF THE LORD, that we should not be condemned with the world. 1 Corinthians 11:32). (IF YE ENDURE CHASTENING, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? Hebrews 12:7). Chastise, (But if ye be WITHOUT CHASTISEMENT, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and NOT SONS. Hebrews 12:8). And correction.(All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for CORRECTION, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16). All these things under the heading of COMFORTER. So be of good cheer when the Holy Spirit is “comforting” you, all the way into Righteousness, Holiness, and Purity that you may Joyfully grow into CHRISTLIKENESS, that you will Gladly be Perfected in Christ. ALL the work of the Holy Spirit is Good for you, for your growth, for your benefit. So rejoice always in His “Comfort”, that you may, Be Blessed
