Daily Devotional. I marvel that ye are so soon removed from HIM that called you into the grace of Christ, (and now start believing and following) unto another gospel: Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. As we said before, (this is important enough for us to repeat this again) so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. Galatians 1:6-10. This is a hard word to ask, but it has to be asked. Every church out there believes it’s following the dictates of its god. Baptist, Methodist, Hindu, Muslim, they all are following their god. But does anyone today ask, “Are we actually following what our god wants us to do”? (Any religion) Are we following our god’s directions, to the letter, not adding to and not taking away from? No favorites here, all religions add to and subtract from the Directions. So, are we Christians willing to show the world full of dead people that our God actually is Who He says He Is, that His Word IS sufficient, and that it’s all we need, because that is all we have? HIS WORD? Is there even one ritual, plan, or tradition we have in our church(s) today that the Lord hasn’t authored? Dare we ask HIM? And if He answers, dare we obey HIM. We’re not going legalistic here, you have to decide what the Lord’s Will is for your life, class, church, job, and family. Is there sin in the camp? Is there secrete sin in your Life? Is there sin in the church? Research the Word and see what IT says. Go ahead, Test God, trash some junk, and, Be Blessed.
