Daily Devotional. He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. Song of Solomon 2:4. Let’s keep it really simple and say that a banqueting house is like a huge dining room full of all kinds of really good food to eat. From meat and potatoes, to delicate dainty’s. Whatever your little heart desires. Yes, that day is coming, in Christ. But for us now, on this earth, on the spiritual side of things, is Christ. He will feed us by the still waters, in green pastures, out of His Word so much so that after reading His Word, you can literally walk away feeling physically full. Just like you sit down at the dinner table to eat. His Word IS that good. Yes, the human body needs physical food, but partaking of Christ and His Word can spill over into the physical so much that you do feel full. Jesus isn’t kidding when He says He wants to feed us. All we have to do is Fellowship with Him and feast on His Word. The Bible isn’t just a bunch of pages full of ink on paper. It is the Life of Christ sent to us to give us Life in a dead and dying world. No matter what happens to us in the physical, we can always feast with Christ everywhere we are. No, not just church, EVERYWHERE we are, together, and individually. Jesus Christ didn’t call Himself “The Bread of Life”, (John 6:35. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst). He also said he would give us Living Water. We get bread and water from out of this world, and we’ll be totally satisfied. How can anyone pass up a deal like that? So how much more understanding about this is there we haven’t discovered yet? None of the Truth is hidden, we just need to dig for it and will find way more than we ever dreamed of. So dream big, feast hearty, and Be Blessed.
