Daily Devotional – MORNINGTIME 1486

Daily Devotional. Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; BUT WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 1 Peter 1:18-19. Thayer Definition: Precious; as of great price, precious, held in honour, esteemed, especially dear. Yes, this is the bible definition of the Word “Precious”, but when it comes to the BLOOD of Christ, Precious just doesn’t seem to be anywhere near enough. How can you put a value on something of the Lord? We sing about His Blood, but do we really understand the True Value of it. I’m not talking about things in the Heavenly’s, I’m talking about the purpose of His Blood as it relates to us people here on this earth today. When Christ died on the Cross of Calvary, He didn’t just pay for my sins only, He paid for everything He has for my Life here on this earth, He paid for my Victories in each and every Battle He has set up for me to go through today, and tomorrow, and the next day, for my whole life on this side. He paid for my EVERYTHING, because He IS my Everything, our EVERYTHING, all of us, saved and unsaved. The problem is that most people never recognize Him as ANYTHING. They miss out on EVERYTHING. Then they have nothing. How sad. So we’re back to the question, Just how Precious IS the Blood of Christ? And how does His Blood affect us here and now? I would like to find some answers. If you have any, please let me know so that we ALL may, Be Blessed
