Daily Devotional. And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. Let’s apply this verse to church, the general “church” across this country. We’ll assume, or at least hope that you are in a church, FIRST, in one the Lord put you in. SECOND, in one that at least somewhat preaches some Gospel. And THIRD, the Lord is feeding you at that church, and also somewhere else, so that you are growing in Christ to some degree. If we can establish that GOD put you there and you are staying in Obedience to Him, than stay there until He releases you to go elsewhere. It may even be that you don’t understand why you are being kept, (by the Lord), in this church, and that’s OK, sometimes we don’t need to understand, just Obey. But why??? Because EVERYTHING that you go through at church, IS TO BUILD YOU AND STRENGTHEN YOU IN CHRIST. Yes, even all the drama, the politics, the foolishness, the idol worship, singing Biblically bad songs, wanting to see more of Christ (in your church) and not seeing Him, ALL these things are Designed BY GOD HIMSELF to Build you, AND Break you, too become more like Christ every time you go through the doors. EVERY TIME. God doesn’t make mistakes, and send you to wrong places. He will use EVERY place you’re at to somehow grow you even more. Yes, you’ll read and study the Bible at home and many places. But your time in church is like no other place you can go, to grow. Every place is different, every situation is different. So Grow EVERYWHERE you go, and go wherever God sends you. If we’re to go to the uttermost parts of the world to preach to lost sinners, WHY NOT START AT CHURCH??? The fields are ripe into Harvest, this includes church. Do you have the “Lord Lord” people in your church? Talk to them, Preach to them, get them into Heaven, and you ALL will, Be Blessed.
