Daily Devotional- MORNINGTIME 1925

Daily Devotional. Because STRAIT is the GATE , and NARROW is the WAY , which leadeth unto life, and FEW there be that FIND IT . Matthew 7:14. Strive to enter in at the STRAIT GATE: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Luke 13:24. I don’t see anywhere in the Bible where someone is considered “saved” just because he said “The Prayer” and the preacher tells the congregation, “Here’s our new Brother in Christ”. That’s the same as 10 runners lined up at the starting line ready to start the race, and the coach pulls runner #3 off the starting line and declared, “And here’s our new winner of the race”. It just doesn’t work like that and it’s not Biblical. When a person starts to truly Follow Christ, that’s just it, HE’S STARTED, he hasn’t Finished the Race yet. HE HAS TO FINISH THE RACE FULLY AND FAIRLY before he can legally have a crown placed on his head. Many start out fast and run hard, part of the way, most of the way, maybe even only feet from finishing, BUT NEVER FINISH. You’re not a winner until you FINISH. When you give your life and heart to Christ, that’s only the start of the race. You MUST persevere ALL THE WAY TO THE END AND CROSS THE FINISH LINE. When you follow Christ /run the Race, when you fall down, you get back up and keep going. Learn from your mistakes, and keep going. Every man woman and child on this earth ALL have an equal opportunity to run and win, The Race. NO ONE gets shut out by the Lord. Christ Paid for EVERYONE to be able to enter Heaven. Actually, Christ cleared the Way, so the only way someone can’t get to Heaven is by throwing in the towel and saying, “I Quit, no more, I’m done”, and walk away. The Lord will move heaven and earth to help anyone, as long as they keep a desire to finish. This is a choice we make every day. Here’s a Hint, the more you Know of Christ, the easier that choice gets, and when you Meet Christ, you’ll never look back. We have EVERY reason to say Yes, and NO reason to say No. Say Yes, Be Blessed.
