This is the time of year, again, when we get to ponder upon the days of ole, the time when Jesus was born in this nice little manger, remember, the angels were singing the Halleluiah chorus to the shepherds out in the fields tending the sheep? And don’t forget the 3 Wiseman bringing their gifts to baby Jesus in the manger. What a nice comforting scene, the pictures of baby Jesus, so cute and serene, JUST THE WAY MANY PEOPLE WANT TO REMEMBER HIM. AND THAT’S ALL!!! As a baby, He can’t hurt you. Yes, I’m being sarcastic, when’s the last time you had a birthday party and everyone ignored you and spent all their time oohing and ahing all over your baby pictures. “Look at those chubby little cheeks, and here’s where he got his first ride home from the hospital…” it goes on and on. Got the picture? WHY, did God come to earth, what did He have to say for 3 1/2 years, and what are we supposed to do with what He said to do? HE’S COMING BACK, SOON, AND IT ISN’T IN DIAPERS. Yes, acknowledge Christ came as a baby, that takes about 5 minutes. NOW HE’S KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORD’S, and when you see Him for the first time, it won’t be to talk about His cute baby pictures. Is He a baby picture in your wallet, or is He The Risen Saviour, crushed by God to Pay for your sins, Living in your heart, moving you from Glory to Glory, to be a sweet smelling savor to God Almighty? Is He cleaning you up so that you will look and be, Pure, Righteous and Holy before God Almighty? Keep baby Jesus if you want, or keep Him as your Victorious, Conquering, KING. Remember HIM, and, Be Blessed.
