Daily Devotional. Evil men understand not judgment: BUT THEY THAT SEEK THE LORD UNDERSTAND ALL THINGS. Proverbs 28:5. And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. AND THEY OVERCAME HIM, (Satan), BY THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB, and by the word of their testimony; AND THEY LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH. Revelation 12:10-11. As a Christian grows and matures, the thoughts of his own safety become of less and less interest to him, as his interest in Christ and the Things of Christ become of more and more interest to him. Don’t misunderstand, his desire for the safety of his family and friends is important to him, but his Trust and Confidence in Christ, that Christ Himself cares so much more for their safety, that he will Trust Christ with ALL their safety to the degree that, live or die, it’s all in the Hands of Christ. He Knows that Satan is a Defeated Foe and can do nothing to anyone, unless it goes through the Throne Room first. The Believer knows then that ALL things are in the Totally Capable Hands and Plans of his Lord and Savior, Jesus, The Christ. With that in mind, he is free to be about the Fathers Business with no worries about his, or their, safety. It makes no difference if Satan wants to kill you once a month, or 18 times in a day, he can’t touch you until it goes through the Throne Room first. Whether you lived through the pinnacle of American Prosperity in the 1960’s, or the coming hard times of the (someday) Tribulation, Satan is still Defeated, Christ is still on His Throne, and you are still qualified to be about the Fathers Business in the face of, and in spite of, whatever is going on around you. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32. And with THAT, you Will, Be Blessed.
