Daily Devotional. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, EXCEPT YE ABIDE IN ME. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:4-5. ABIDE, continue, dwell, endure, be present, remain, stand, tarry (for), X thine own. not to depart, to continue to be present, to be held, kept, continually. If you belong to Christ, and He belongs to you, you never want to leave Him. If this is you, you get to call yourself a Christian. So what happens to those followers of A RELIGION that teaches that Christ was ONLY a prophet, ONLY a nice guy, He is the brother of Satan, that He is a created being, and such like theologies. If they preach a different Christ than what the bible preaches, then they are teaching a different christ. This is a christ of their own making. If the Bible preaches THE CHRIST, (a), and your religion preaches a different christ, (b), then reason says you are NOT following the Christ of the Bible. All that to say, if you’re not Abiding IN HIM as He says in His Word, YOU’RE A WALKING DEAD MAN ON YOUR WAY TO HELL. This is not “legalism”, this is THE WORD, and it hurts. It’s better to hurt a little here and now, get healed, repent, and Live with Christ forever, than to stay with what you now know to be a man-made LIE, die, and go to Hell. If you read this and this is showing you what you’re really in, ONLY ARROGANCE AND PRIDE will keep you away from the One True God. Don’t swallow your pride, CAST IT OUT, that you may be freed from its bondages. This is very simple stuff, you’re in or you’re not. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you where you stand, which Christ are you teaching, are you HIS??? Follow Christ, and, Be Blessed.
