Daily Devotional. ABIDE IN ME, AND I IN YOU. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, THE SAME BRINGETH FORTH MUCH FRUIT: FOR WITHOUT ME YE CAN DO NOTHING. John 15:4-5. Jesus is the vine, and we are the branches. Jesus is also the Head of the church, and we are his body. Either way, without God, nothing is going to happen. This sounds so simple, yet it is still so profound because we still like to run off from Christ, claim to the world that He is still with us, do our own thing, and Christ is actually nowhere to be found. With this style of “christianity” going on, no one can challenge us because it will be the many of us against the one of them. Remember, there is safety in numbers, even when the majority are wrong. It’s so easy to “prove” that Christ is wrong, look at Him, he’s all alone!!! If you are one of Christ’s, you will be all alone, and very easy to pick off. They got rid of the old Prophets, look how wrong they were. IN THE CHURCH TODAY, CHRIST IS CALLING HIS TO COME OUT FROM THEM. He’s going to saw off the dead wood, cast off those who are not his, and clean house. Keep in mind, Christ, and you, makes a majority. If you know Christ, and He knows you, stand your ground as if your very life depended on it, it just may!!! It has always been easy to find, and pick off, the single guy, HE LOOKS AND ACTS DIFFERENT. And just because he says he can back up his words with The bible, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s so. Let’s see, Christ was alone, He acted different, and He was easy to pick off. So, if you’re like Him, THEY’LL PICK YOU OFF TOO. If you’re the “loner” out there, just be sure you’re alone with Christ. Stand your ground as if your very life depends on it, because it does. Then, even if they kill you, you will, Be Blessed.
