Daily Devotional. For the time is come that JUDGMENT MUST BEGIN AT THE HOUSE OF GOD: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17. Here’s a subject that we don’t hear much good preaching on, THE JUDGMENT OF THE CHURCH. Why is the church, the corporate church across America, going to be Judged? If you don’t care about the numbers in your church, go ahead and preach on this. If numbers drive your church, don’t preach on this because your numbers will drop. You will step on toes. Here goes, A: As any good church goer will tell you, the troubles with the church is because of those guys over there. They are rowdy and out of order. We, at such and such church, are being obedient to everything the Lord tells us to do. We know what He wants, and it’s to expand His Kingdom. We’re doing very well, thank you. Or B: We ALL know the general church in America is in serious trouble. There is crime and corruption, adultery, idolatry, lying, cheating, stealing, and… But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Revelation 21:8. These are people IN the church. Anyone had Ichabod written over their church front doors lately? Would anyone in your church even recognize if the Holy Spirit DID leave??? And how about the Great Apostasy? Are they leaving as fast as others are coming in? Until a person has True Repentance, and until your church body has True Repentance, until ALL the church leadership together has True Repentance, THERE WILL BE NO REPENTANCE. No Repentance, and God doesn’t hang around long. The Church is about to come under severe tribulation and the True Church, the Redeemed Body of Christ, are right now being prepared to transition over into Faith and Obedience mode seamlessly. They, the Redeemed will, Be Blessed.
