Daily Devotional. Know therefore that THE LORD THY GOD, HE IS GOD, THE FAITHFUL GOD, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; Deuteronomy 7:9. The world knows all ABOUT God, but only Christians KNOW God. Except for the act of Salvation by the Holy Spirit in an unsaved person’s life, the people of the world are not spiritually able to KNOW God as He desires to be known. For example, “I heard about people parachuting out of a plane”, is totally different from, “I jumped out of a plane and the parachute worked wonderfully”. One is hearsay, the other is First Hand Experience. Only a Christian is fully Qualified to knowledgeably speak of the Things of the Lord. This is why the Lord tells us in His Word to study, talk about, fellowship over, believe, and trust with your life, THE WORD OF God, the Bible. The more you read, study, and believe, the more Godly Knowledge you will have to talk about with the lost. And even better, as you GROW in this knowledge and understanding, the Holy Spirit will open your eyes to the Reality of what you are learning to where it is REAL to you and anchored in your spirit. It will become so real that at times the Excitement, the Exuberance, and the Intensity of God will be almost more than you can handle. And THAT is something you won’t be able to be quiet about. “Tell others” will be your heart’s cry and you will look for people to tell. Now, when a lost person hears your “testimony”, they will either get excited about your words, or purposefully try to shut out the Truth they have just heard. Either way, you WILL make a difference in their life. That’s what Christians do, make a difference so that people will, Be Blessed.
