Daily Devotional. And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you. FEAR NOT, LITTLE FLOCK; FOR IT IS YOUR FATHER’S GOOD PLEASURE TO GIVE YOU THE KINGDOM. Luke 12:29-32. Let’s use these verses to illustrate how a new born lamb, and a senior mature sheep can read the same thing and get two, (among others), different perspectives on the same thought, AND BOTH WILL GROW IN AGREEMENT IN THE MIND OF CHRIST. Baby sheep will see, ”And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink”, and come to a screeching halt and immediately ask the Lord, “If I’M not to get me food and clothes, who will”? They will then start the process of study, understanding, and Growing in Faith and Maturity and come to the place where later, when the read these same verses, ” FEAR NOT, LITTLE FLOCK; FOR IT IS YOUR FATHER’S GOOD PLEASURE TO GIVE YOU THE KINGDOM”, their first thought is, “God will provide for my every need, food and clothing, AND HE EVEN HAS A PLACE FOR ME TO RULE AND REIGN WITH HIM IN HIS KINGDOM”. Two different understandings from the same verses, both growing to the same Mind of Christ. My point is this, little Lambs, when you read something heavy, more for a senior mature sheep, don’t throw it out, don’t doubt your Salvation, just put it “on the shelf”, and ask the Holy Spirit to Teach you the Truth of something you don’t understand, IN HIS TIME. Later in maturity, you’ll read it again, get understanding, and say, “THAT’S what He meant, now I get it”. This is why Fellowship with young and old sheep, can bring understanding of the Mind of Christ, to everyone, and all will, Be Blessed.
