I was recently asked why I was pushing so hard with MORNINGTIME. This was my answer. Imagine you’re riding in a car with someone and they’re driving wildly, sliding around corners, tailgating, crossing the centerline, and nothing you say gets them to slow down. And you know there’s a stop sign just ahead and if you don’t stop, you’re going over the edge of the cliff, and die. You yell one last time, “Stop, or we’ll die”, and he doesn’t listen….. This is the church in America today. We are determined to do whatever we want to do, our way, with only a token prayer for guidance from the Lord. All we churches believe we’re doing everything the Lord wants us to do, BECAUSE WE KEEP DOING IT. If we knew we weren’t supposed to do something, I would have to hope we wouldn’t be doing it. ALL CHURCHES ARE DOING CHURCH, whatever denomination or sect we are. It goes from a to z, and from Praising the Lord, to Satan worship, with everything else in between. Everybody believes THEY are right. Everybody believes they’re going to Heaven. If there is no sin in the camp, there is no need for Repentance. And we don’t need Repentance if we’re doing it right. Most churches are like lost sinners, “I’m ok, God and I got it going, so don’t judge me”. That’s what the Scribes and Pharisees were saying as Christ condemned them. Is Judgment falling on the church yet? Or are we all good with the Lord and all is well? Be Blessed?
