Daily Devotional. Many will say to me in that day, LORD, LORD, HAVE WE NOT prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name DONE MANY WONDERFUL WORKS? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. Matthew 7:22-23. This is not to judge or criticize, or try to see into one’s heart. This is an illustration to get you to consider your standing with the Lord. You’re OK? Good! How’s your friend, neighbor, or family member? Do they know Christ? Here goes. You get “saved” in your church, whatever faith or denomination it is. Saved is as whatever it takes to get to heaven. Baptist, Catholic, Muslim, whatever it is, whatever they tell you it takes to get to heaven, you do it and you’re told, you’re saved and going to heaven, paradise, whatever. SO FAR, YOU’RE JUST A LORD LORD PEOPLE. If you’re not following Jesus, The Christ of the Bible, AND ALL HE SAYS TO SAY AND DO, if you’re only obeying what you want to do, you’re lost. You think you’re “in” because someone told you you were, that’s not good enough. You can’t get to heaven through the pope, or by the planet Kolob, or visiting 10 houses this Saturday, or by killing 10 infidels. You’re a Lord Lord people and you’re dead. ONLY BY FOLLOWING JESUS CHRIST, THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD, Him being total Lord and Savior of your life, by following the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit as He washes you clean of all the filth of this world, by allowing Him to change you daily towards CHRISTLIKENESS, in Purity, Righteousness, and Holiness, and running away from the world and to Christ, can you then call yourself a Christian. Is this too harsh? How hot is Hell??? What kind of directions and instructions are you willing to follow to get away from a Disaster? This world IS a Disaster. Christ is the ONLY way out, go, and be Saved. JUST BE SURE, BE ASSURED BY CHRIST HIMSELF. Accept no substitutes, and, Be Blessed.
