ANYONE can preach the gospel no matter where they are in, or out of, the Lord. Now, because of human faults and frailties, many people want to hear from a preacher to get a constant type of preaching. They don’t want just any Joe Shmoe telling them about what the Bible says. Preachers are needed, and they hold a biblical office, but they are not the ONLY ones who can preach the Word. If it’s a case if someone not going to church, or going to a denominational church, the d-church is the better way to go. Something is better than nothing. Just don’t stop seeking Christ if you run out of denominational stuff to learn. Christ has SO much more, if you will but ASK Him. This is NOT a “down with denominations” harping, it’s an “Up with Christ” call that goes way past the end of the d-churches. If we totally lift up Christ, there will be no room to lift up man. Whether we discern it or not, there is way too much lifting up of man in our churches. Ever notice a preacher with lots of letters after his name? He wants you to know he’s qualified, for something. How many of those same letters would be behind Jesus name, if He were trying to impress you? Yes, He does have 3 letters after his Name…. G -O- D. That says it all. If you want more, go find some man, he’ll be glad to impress you with his letters. Go to God, he’ll impress you with, L-I-F-E. Could you possibly want more than that? Yes, glean all you can from your “d”-church, then keep on growing, you’ll never outgrow all that Christ has for you. And go Preach the Gospel, YOU’RE QUALIFIED. Now go, Be Blessed.
