Daily Devotional. And grieve not the holy SPIRIT OF GOD, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30. The Holy Spirit IS, among other things, Holiness, Righteousness, and Purity. He IS Perfect Purity, Perfect Righteousness, and Perfect Holiness. There are no words man can use to describe this Perfection. This is in the heart and spirit of every man, woman, and child that has ever walked the face of this earth. To come against the Holy Spirit is the line that no-one dares cross because they know instinctively, YOU JUST DON’T CROSS, the Holy Spirit. It’s everyday language to hear people curse God, use His Name in vain, use Christ’s Name in everyday cussing, and angrily curse anything Godly, EXCEPT, NO ONE EVER SPEAKS AGAINST THE HOLY SPIRIT, NEVER, IN CUSSING, BLASPHEMY, OR ANGER. They know not to cross that line. Just the name HOLY SPIRIT evokes a Holiness and Purity that people won’t touch. No one will speak directly against Him. But they WILL avoid, evade, ignore, and disobey Him. “They” is us in the church. The world doesn’t care. We barely give notice to, teach about, or listen to, THE SPIRIT OF GOD. WE WON’T LISTEN BECAUSE WE DON’T WANT HIM AND HIS HOLINESS IN OUR LIVES!!! He’ll ruin every fleshly endeavor we want to do. And if we ask Him, we’ll get convicted about it. He ruins everything that’s not of God. And we do a LOT of, not of God. We can handle condemnation from Satan, we’re used to it, we grew up in it. But Holiness? That’s a game changer, both figuratively and literally. The world won’t cuss Him, and the “church” won’t listen to Him. BUT THE SHEEP WILL RUN TO HIM CRYING OUT FOR HIS HOLINESS, RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND PURITY ALL OVER THEIR LIVES. They LIVE to be changed by the Holy Spirit, whatever it takes, whatever it costs. And yes, it’s already Paid for, in Full, by Christ. So sit back, relax, and let the Holy Spirit change you into CHRISTLIKENESS. With THAT, you WILL, Be Blessed.
