Daily Devotional. Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:16. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. Luke 16:29. And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Ephesians 4:11-12. I want to welcome the new readers/subscribers to MORNINGTIME and tell you about what it is, and what it isn’t. MORNINGTIME is a daily devotional based on scripture with my commentary following. It is meant to challenge, provoke, and get you to think about what you Believe, and why you Believe it. Your Faith is YOUR Faith. I ask the question, “Have you considered WHY you believe as you do and does it line up with the Word of God”? Forget MY viewpoint and opinion, Seek God and HIS Viewpoint and Opinion. I desire you to seek out Holiness, Righteousness, and Purity, with Faith, Obedience, and Boldness, as Christ has Paid for to be a part of YOUR Life. MORNINGTIME is NOT my pulpit to pick on any “certain individual or church”. If I rail against a sin, and it strikes home with you, talk it over with the Holy Spirit. I aim at Sin, and let the chips fall where they may. I’m not anti-anybody, I’m anti-sin. Christ died to free us from sin and draw us to Himself. I want to speak the Truth as Lovingly as I can, but you’ll have to decide if I’m successful or not. All comments and questions are gratefully welcomed.
