Daily Devotional. The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord , saying, Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem; And say thou unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel; CURSED BE THE MAN THAT OBEYETH NOT THE WORDS OF THIS COVENANT, Which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: SO SHALL YE BE MY PEOPLE, AND I WILL BE YOUR GOD: Jeremiah 11:1-4. The disobedience of the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem is so great, God is going to punish them severely, this is how; Therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: THE YOUNG MEN SHALL DIE BY THE SWORD; THEIR SONS AND THEIR DAUGHTERS SHALL DIE BY FAMINE: Jeremiah 11:22. And this is only “Punishment”, not even Tribulation or Judgment!!! The record shows this attitude goes all the way back to when the Lord brought them out of Egypt. All that to say this to us today, Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. Luke 16:29. WE, THE 4 WALLS GRASSY FRONT YARD CHURCH, ARE GUILTY OF THE SAME THING TODAY!!! For the time is come that JUDGMENT MUST BEGIN AT THE HOUSE OF GOD: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17. And the “4 walls” church thinks it’s getting hauled out of here before tribulation starts? Tribulation separates the sheep from the goats, the Believers from the “Lord Lord” people. CHRIST WILL KEEP HIS, what’s left will go up in smoke. Consider Moses and the Prophets, and, Be Blessed.
